This week I am lucky to have Sandra come visit! She is sitting in on my classes and giving me some feedback! I have never had anyone (not a student) be in my class and keep me posted on if students are on facebook or not! The students are actually trying to put her in their group for group work and she's just like, "I'm just hangin out!"
In other news, this week we are also getting ready for Halloween-trying to decide what we are going to be. The verdict is still out, but I will tell you when a decision is reached. Happy Hump Day!

I'm ok! I'm ok!
After getting over my bad case of Monday's (as Christen put it), I felt better. As my Monday went on, it got easier. By the end of it, in my last class at NOVA, it was awesome; I had my best Monday NOVA class of the semester! Weird how that turns out.
I read on another friend's blog last night that we must remember in our lowest point (such as a bad case of Monday's) that we have to continue to trust the Lord and give Him our all. Now I know that Monday's aren't that bad but just overall-trusting him. Most of you know that I adjunct at two schools-which means two part time jobs. I am believing the Lord for a full-time job. Not necessarily teaching, but maybe Communication for a company, etc.
For the moment, I am enjoying what He has given me-which are two jobs at amazing schools!! I never thought that I could/would be doing what I am and I love it! In addition, only working two and a half days a week makes it even better! This was nice to have, especially the first semester, because it allowed me to get my lesson plans done for the next day or next week.
Next semester should/will be easier owing to the fact that I will have all my lesson plans done. If this is the case, I can continue to make those plans even more awesome, such as think of activities for each class, etc. I got asked to teach a new class at NOVA for the Spring-we will see what happens. I will keep you posted on my schedule!

happy monday...
Well hello October 17th! You definitely feel like a Monday. Thank you Lord for giving me a job-I know I will encounter days like this though. You take the good with the bad-let me clarify, it's not bad, I guess I am just exhausted. Have a wonderful week everyone. You better believe my bedtime tonight is 7 p.m.!

Don't BE LATE!!!
This week, I have encountered several problems with tardiness. Therefore, I have started kicking out students that come in late. Now normally I am not this harsh-but this is during student presentations. After I kick out these students (or just don't let them come in) they always stick around and apologize!
Anyways, so far so good. Even on those days that I have to be a little hateful-I still love and enjoy what I am doing.
On another note, Sara and Andrew Hill came up to DC for her work and we had a wonderful time! Like I stated in the video, we went to church together, ate and drove around talking. Yesterday, I met up with them at Arlington National Cemetery and we went through that together. It was so great to see them!
